Description:

Position Title - Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced developer to join our team. As a developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure communication protocols and cryptographic systems. Your expertise in IPsec, TLS, and cryptography will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and privacy of our software applications and systems. Responsibilities: Design and develop secure communication protocols, focusing on IPsec and TLS. Implement cryptographic algorithms and protocols to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate secure communication mechanisms into our software applications. Perform security assessments and vulnerability analysis to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities. Stay up to date with the latest advancements and best practices in cryptography and network security. Provide guidance and support to other team members on security-related topics. Requirements: Solid understanding of IPsec and TLS protocols, including their underlying cryptographic principles and mechanisms. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for software development, such as C++, and Java. Familiarity with cryptographic algorithms and protocols, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, digital signatures, key exchange, and hash functions. Experience with network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP. Knowledge of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities, such as buffer overflows and injection attacks. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems for security weaknesses. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Preferred qualifications: Experience working with cryptographic libraries and frameworks, such as OpenSSL or Bouncy Castle. Familiarity with cryptographic protocols beyond IPsec and TLS, such as SSH, PGP, or S/MIME. Knowledge of network security standards, such as IPsec and SSL/TLS VPN. Understanding of public key infrastructure (PKI) and certificate management.
