We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI DAX and SQL Developer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably from a large consulting company, and possess a deep understanding of Power BI DAX and SQL development. Possessing a PL300 certification is highly desirable, and any experience with Power Apps or Power Automate would be a bonus. \\Responsibilities:\\ 1. Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to meet client requirements. 2. Data Modeling: Create efficient and optimized data models in Power BI using DAX and SQL, ensuring accurate data representation and analysis. 3. Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI, utilizing SQL queries and other data manipulation techniques. 4. Query Optimization: Optimize SQL queries and DAX calculations for performance and scalability, ensuring fast and efficient data retrieval. 5. Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets and identify patterns, trends, and insights to support data-driven decision-making for clients. 6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data architects, business analysts, and project managers, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. 7. Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Power BI, DAX, and SQL technologies and apply them to enhance development processes and deliver innovative solutions. 8. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and best practices, to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain high-quality deliverables. 9. Mentoring and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative learning environment. 10. Power Apps and Power Automate (Bonus): Utilize Power Apps and Power Automate to enhance data integration, workflow automation, and user experience in Power BI projects. \\Requirements:\\ 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development with expertise in DAX and SQL. 3. Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices, including star schema, snowflake schema, and data normalization. 4. Proven experience in designing and implementing efficient ETL processes using SQL and other relevant technologies. 5. Expertise in optimizing SQL queries and advanced DAX calculations for performance and efficiency. 6. Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices, with a keen eye for aesthetics and usability. 7. Possession of PL300 certification (highly desirable) showcasing advanced skills and knowledge in Power BI. 8. Proficiency in working with large datasets and complex data structures. 10. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently. 11. Experience in a large consulting company or similar environment is highly desirable.
