Position Title: QA Automation Lead Reports To: Quality Analyst Manager Position Summary: We are looking for a QA Automation Lead to join our team of IT professionals. In this role, you will be leading a team of automation engineers and you will be suggesting ideas for automated software test procedures. Besides, you will highlight problem areas and track bugs hindering software solutions. As a QA Automation Lead, you will be liaising with the Developers and Project Managers to identify and test key features of software programs. Apart from regression flows, you should focus on prod issues and automate those flows/functionalities. You will be investigating the cause of non-conforming software programs. You should be detail-oriented and possess excellent troubleshooting abilities. We would love to have you onboard, if you have a strong technical background and can streamline all automation testing activities. Position Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:  7+ years of experience in leading automation team, quality assurance, or a similar role.  Strong hands-on experience in Cypress is a must.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Hands on experience with API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger.IO, JMeter etc.  Hands on experience with Database testing.  Good to have working knowledge with technologies like Selenium with Cucumber, Serenity with Cucumber, Rest assured etc.  Must have working knowledge of database specially with SELECT statement.  Having good knowledge of DevOps processes and tools is an added advantage. Position Responsibilities:  Developing automation framework and scripts.  Review automation code and provide suggestions to enhance the scripts.  Developing test deliverables like test plans, test cases, test data, and traceability matrix.  Developing integration tests for various business scenarios.  Ensure that defects are correctly captured, documented, reviewed, prioritized, and triaged.  Other duties as assigned.
