Key Responsibilities: ----Leadership and Management: Oversee the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment. Lead, supervise, and support preschool staff, including teachers, assistants, and administrative personnel. Manage staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and provide professional development opportunities. Ensure that the preschool meets all licensing requirements and adheres to state and local regulations. ----Curriculum Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curriculum that meets educational standards and promotes the development of each child. Collaborate with teachers to design lesson plans that align with the preschool's philosophy and goals. Monitor the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes. ----Parent and Community Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing concerns and providing regular updates on children's progress. Organize and lead parent-teacher conferences, workshops, and other events to engage parents in their children's education. Build and maintain positive relationships with the local community, including potential partners and stakeholders. ----Financial Management: Develop and manage the preschool's budget, including overseeing tuition collection, payroll, and expenses. Ensure that the preschool operates within its financial means and meets enrollment targets. Identify opportunities for fundraising and securing additional resources to support the preschool's programs. ----Health and Safety: Ensure the preschool complies with all health and safety regulations, including those related to food, sanitation, and emergency procedures. Implement policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of all children and staff. Conduct regular safety drills and ensure that staff are trained in emergency response procedures. -----Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong understanding of child development and early education best practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively. Knowledge of state and local regulations governing preschool operations. ----Work Environment: This role is based in a preschool setting, requiring regular interaction with children, staff, and parents. The Preschool Director may need to work outside of regular hours for events, meetings, or emergencies.
